ASUS X83VP-X1 is a 14.1-inch laptop powered by an Intel Core 2 Duo T6600(2.20GHz) processor, 4GB Memory DDR2 800, 320GB HDD 7200rpm Hard Drive. It sports a 14.1″ WXGA widescreen display, ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4650 Graphics Card, DVD Super Multi Optical Drive. The laptop runs on Windows 7 Home Premium Operating System. Needless to say, such a configuration is good enough for our daily use.
As a 14.1″ laptop, the ASUS X83VP-X1 is great for most people, you can use it to do anything you want.
ASUS beefed up all the right components in the X83VP-X1 to find the best balance between price, performance, weight, and battery life. It’s absolutely silent during it’s 3+ hours of basic use and doesn’t get annoyingly loud during heavy operation.
The ASUS X83VP-X1 laptop is perfect for people who want portability, solid desktop performance, and enjoy gaming here and there. It handles Left 4 Dead 2 and other HL2-based games in high detail without a hitch and, yes, it WILL run Crysis. The card reader, webcam, HDMI and eSATA ports are all welcome extras.
